Program description
Those interested in gaining advanced training in the research field might do so by pursuing a Master of Philosophy. Through required coursework, a research project, and a final minor thesis, the Master of Philosophy degree prepares students for careers in academic study.
To foster student collaboration and critical thinking, the course structure was built with adult learning theory as a foundation. Students will benefit from a more rigorous, interesting, and holistic educational experience as a result of this. Knowledge and abilities are scaffolded in each unit and develop gradually throughout the duration of the course.
The Master of Philosophy is designed to equip students with the theoretical grounding and practical experience necessary to become independent scholars and effective professionals. You will have a deep and broad understanding of a specific field of study or field of application. They will be able to independently analyze, critically reflect upon, and synthesise complicated information, problems, concepts, and theories thanks to their expert, specialized cognitive and technical skills in a body of knowledge or practice. Graduates will have the skills necessary to conduct research on their own.
