Program description
Our BA (Hons) Comic & Concept Art degree will put you on the correct path whether your goal is to illustrate stories for graphic novels and comics or produce concept art for movies or video games.
Your preparation for the crucial role that comic and concept artists play in animation, film, games, comics, and other media is the main focus of this degree.
You'll use your creativity and sketching prowess to put directors' concepts on paper and in motion, developing your ability to solve problems as you come up with intriguing new designs.
The pre-production phase will be covered in this course, and designing assets like as characters, creatures, environments, key art illustrations, splash art, weaponry, and props will be required.
You'll investigate these artistic challenges utilizing both conventional and technological means, including Photoshop, Maya, ZBrush, and After Effects.
You can enroll in an Integrated International Foundation Year, which was created especially to give international students English language and creative skills before they start their first year of study.
As a part of this degree, you have the option of finishing a Professional Practice Year. You will have the chance to reach your full professional, academic, and personal potential as a result, giving you the tools you need to operate confidently and enthusiastically in creative environments.
