With UCA's new BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree, you may develop cutting-edge software developing abilities and become a valuable resource for employers in the creative industries and beyond.
You can learn to construct applications for a wide variety of digital platforms with the aid of this in-depth technical degree program offered by UCA Farnham.
You will gain the essential technical skills required for software programming and development in modern environments, including those involving local devices, the web, and cloud technologies. You'll learn most of this through doing, along with supporting contextual and theoretical lectures and seminars.
A significant project based on your personal interests and a display of art created throughout the year will serve as the culmination of your studies.
Before beginning your first year of study for a degree, you can also enroll in an international foundation year that focuses on English and essential creative abilities. You can also spend a year on a professional placement to obtain invaluable work experience before moving on to your final year of study.

Requirements for applicants
If you do not have qualifications from the United Kingdom, we will accept equivalent qualifications from your native country for admittance into our programs.
In addition to academic credentials, some of our courses require a portfolio of previous work.
For our Bachelor's courses, we usually require that you have:
- High school leaving certificate or equivalent.
- A transcript showing successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with CGPA 3.8.

Portfolio requirements
For these course, you must perform an individual piece as an audition. This piece can be up to two minutes long and can be one of the following: a brief modern text (play or screenplay); a short piece of Shakespeare; or an original work you have composed.
