Program description
Our BA (Hons) Digital Art degree at UCA Farnham is an art program unlike any other. We are at the forefront of cutting-edge visual practice and are breaking new ground in our approach to dealing with moving image and hybrid digital outputs.
This course offers the chance to gain expertise in a wide variety of digital and moving image techniques, while also being exposed to a wide variety of worldwide current practices that can inspire students to think outside the box and create groundbreaking work.
There are thematically organized core sections that feature research-informed lectures, a variety of hands-on workshops, and basic critical and creative exercises. Throughout, you'll work with others in your class to solve problems, brainstorm, and advance your own creative interests and goals.
We'll help you figure out possible career paths and get ready for the real world by embedding an emphasis on employability throughout the curriculum.

Requirements for applicants
If you do not have qualifications from the United Kingdom, we will accept equivalent qualifications from your native country for admittance into our programs.
In addition to academic credentials, some of our courses require a portfolio of previous work.
For our Bachelor's courses, we usually require that you have:
- High school leaving certificate or equivalent.
- A transcript showing successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with CGPA 3.8.

Portfolio requirements
For these course, you must perform an individual piece as an audition. This piece can be up to two minutes long and can be one of the following: a brief modern text (play or screenplay); a short piece of Shakespeare; or an original work you have composed.
