Program description
BA/BSc (Hons) Events & Festivals Management will provide you with the knowledge and abilities to manage exciting events of any size, scope, or budget.
Thousands of events must be organized, whether they are local charity fundraisers, music festivals, corporate conferences, conventions, or sporting events. This is a vibrant, dynamic business with a global scope that necessitates adaptability and rapid thinking.
This course, taught at UCA Epsom's Business School for the Creative Industries, will walk you through the process of creating an event, from the initial concept to the organization and curation of the participant's experience, and finally to the final staging.
You will learn about ahead planning, venue selection, programming, equipment, experience design, and the critical role that food and drink play. You'll also learn how to create budgets, analyze data, follow health and safety standards, and assess environmental risks.
Before beginning your first year of study for a degree, you can also enroll in an international foundation year that focuses on English and essential creative abilities. You can also spend a year on a professional placement to obtain invaluable work experience before moving on to your final year of study.
