Program description
Our BA (Hons) Film Production program at UCA Farnham will provide you the skills, information, and self-assurance you need to carve out an exciting career behind the camera.
Graduates have gone on to work on notable television programs like Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and the Disney+ series Loki, as well as the Harry Potter and Mission Impossible series.
We emphasize practice in our course because we think that learning comes from doing. You'll have the opportunity to have your coursework screened at regional, national, and international competitions and festivals while you're a student, and you'll graduate with the impressive body of work, in-demand specialized knowledge, and real-world filmmaking experience that employers really desire.
You'll join a close-knit creative team from the start and make movies on digital and 16mm cameras, just like in the film business. You'll get networking and communication skills that will help you in your profession as well as knowledge of the film industry and the entire production process.
You can enroll in an Integrated International Foundation Year, which was created especially to give international students English language and creative skills before they start their first year of study.
As a part of this degree, you have the option of finishing a Professional Practice Year. You will have the chance to reach your full professional, academic, and personal potential as a result, giving you the tools you need to operate confidently and enthusiastically in creative environments. These abilities are highly recognized by employers, and a sizable percentage of placement students receive graduate-level employment offers or continue on to postgraduate study.
