Program description

You will become an artist while taking our BA (Hons) Fine Art degree program at UCA Farnham, but you will also develop in a variety of other ways that will prepare you for a variety of careers.

Our program is centered on experimentation, play, and intellectual inquiry, which can be expressed through a variety of end products. It reflects the vitality and attitude of contemporary art.

Thematic core modules are interspersed throughout the course and consist of introductory critical and creative assignments, a variety of practical workshops, and critically informed, research-led lectures.

Additionally, because Fine Art is part of an interdisciplinary program that also offers degrees in Photography and Digital Art, you'll have the chance to collaborate with students in other fields during elective courses. This will provide you the opportunity to design your own educational plan based on your research preferences.

You can enroll in an Integrated International Foundation Year, which was created especially to give international students English language and creative skills before they start their first year of study.

As part of this degree, you can also choose to complete a Professional Practice Year. You will have the chance to reach your full professional, academic, and personal potential as a result, giving you the tools you need to operate confidently and enthusiastically in creative environments. These abilities are highly recognized by employers, and a sizable percentage of placement students receive graduate-level employment offers or continue on to postgraduate study.
