Program description
At UCA Canterbury, we offer a fascinating BA (Hons) Product Design degree program where you may develop your design practice and pursue your own ideas while making new or better custom goods and furnishings.
Cooperative learning with other design students can help you see your products in a broader context and learn how they fit into certain ecosystems defined by factors such as location, aesthetics, technology, price, and value. Discovering a need in the market and tailoring your ideas and prototypes to meet that need is another important skill you'll pick up.
With the help of our academic and technical staff, who are all working artists in their own right, and our spacious workshop facilities, which include everything you need to work with wood, metal, and plastic, you can anticipate to be constantly creating from the very beginning of your studies.
