Program description

Our BA (Hons) Product & Furniture Design program at the UCA Canterbury School of Architecture and Design is the ideal program if you are passionate about transforming the ordinary into the remarkable.

Through the use of a combination of digital and analog techniques, you will study the principles of thinking, analyzing, drawing, making, and testing. Working with students in architecture, interior, and industrial design courses, you'll learn the significance of the interaction between goods, furniture pieces, and the spaces they fill along the way.

You can enroll in an Integrated International Foundation Year, which was created especially to give international students English language and creative skills before they start their first year of study.

In order to ensure that you graduate prepared for the workforce, you will gain experience working with industry through actual project opportunities, masterclasses, and optionally a professional work placement if you choose the Professional Practice Year pathway.

By the time you graduate, you'll be a smart problem-solver with an open mind and a daring attitude to investigating how product and furniture design may benefit society both now and in the future.

On this course, you'll have the opportunity to add a year of study at an overseas institution (either a higher education establishment or a workplace).
