Program description
We offer a dynamic and interesting BA (Hons) Television Production degree program where you may learn all the skills you need to succeed in the television industry in the context of Maidstone TV Studios.
You will gain a well-rounded skill set through studying a variety of television genres, from written drama to live production, with an emphasis on both hands-on experience and technical study, including concept development and contextual awareness. You will be well-equipped to pursue a variety of career paths, from interning on commercial films to working with cutting-edge equipment in the studios.
Recent examples include the FIFA eSports World Championship and the Jools Holland Annual Hootenanny on BBC, as well as Empire of Light, Alan Partridge, and I Can See Your Voice on ITV, and Catchphrase and Game of Talents on ITV.
Our BAFTA Albert Education Partnership allows you to pursue sustainable training and earn certification as a "Albert Grad," while our ScreenSkills Select accreditation grants you access to special industry involvement.

Requirements for applicants
If you do not have qualifications from the United Kingdom, we will accept equivalent qualifications from your native country for admittance into our programs.
In addition to academic credentials, some of our courses require a portfolio of previous work.
For our Bachelor's courses, we usually require that you have:
- High school leaving certificate or equivalent.
- A transcript showing successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with CGPA 3.8.

Portfolio requirements
For these course, you must perform an individual piece as an audition. This piece can be up to two minutes long and can be one of the following: a brief modern text (play or screenplay); a short piece of Shakespeare; or an original work you have composed.
