Program description
The new UCA Curating degree course introduces students to current curating through a theoretical and practical curriculum. UCA Canterbury offers various curation opportunities in its practice-oriented culture.
This class gives students plenty of career-related experience. You will develop critical discourse, analytical thinking, creative discovery, and contextual study abilities by organizing, presenting, installing, documenting, archiving, interpreting, and administering an exhibition. You will attend events at major galleries and smaller arts organizations with mentors who are professionals in their fields to interact with a varied art community.
Information gathering is part of it. You must immerse yourself in an environment that promotes creativity and diversity. You can establish a successful art profession and become a modern and contemporary art curation leader with its support.
Due of its multiple sites and links, UCA's thriving gallery program will improve your studies. This includes links to emerging art scenes in Margate, Dover, Whitstable, Folkestone, and Hastings, as well as London, Kent, and Surrey arts organizations. Additionally, UCA's global presence and affiliations with Tate, the National Portrait Gallery, and the British Centre for Photography provide a unique opportunity for international arts interaction.
