Program description
Our MA Graphic Design degree at UCA Farnham will offer you the tools and confidence to develop your practise as a proficient professional communicator as it places a strong emphasis on research and problem-solving.
Our top priorities for this course are that you master your own distinctive style and visual language in graphic design and that your work stems from a place of informed and independent research.
You'll examine several uses of visual language in this course and how they relate to your area of expertise. In the process, you'll gain professional experience that will enable you to run a more creative practise and improve your grasp of the aesthetic and financial value of your work.
You'll have the ability to build contacts with business partners in your field of expertise while taking advantage of the wide industry connections of our course faculty. The BBC, FutureBrand, GF Smith, and Typocircle are just a few of the organisations that UCA is happy to have links with.
You will learn how to present both yourself and your design work in a professional setting through guest lectures, live briefs, and opportunities to network with industry professionals. You will get current experience of the design industry through these activities.
You can choose the Integrated International Pre-Masters, a year-long preparatory programme of study to get you ready for your master's in the UK, improving your speaking and writing skills in English along with your specialty skills, research knowledge, and self-confidence.
