Program description
The goal of marketing is to plan, price, promote, and distribute goods and services through a series of interconnected economic activities. Marketing, according to the American Marketing Association, is "an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders."
Marketing students study consumer behavior, market segmentation, pricing strategies, distribution networks, advertising and promotion, product and service development, and the development of strategies to satisfy both organizational objectives and consumer demands.
