Program description
As a student in our highly regarded, STEM-designated program, you will have the chance to interact with faculty academics researching everything from asset management to mergers and acquisitions, manage a $1.8 million student-run portfolio, and perform in-depth financial research. You have the option of graduating in as little as 12 months or choosing our three-semester option, which allows you to complete an internship and graduate in 16 months.

Program structure
You will have 12-16 months of immersive education.
The department offers a wide range of finance-related courses. Fall and spring semesters offer the required courses for students pursuing a master's degree in finance. There are a few elective courses available in the fall and spring. The following is a description of the typical course options. Master's Project is a six-unit course, however all other courses are three units with "regular grades" for grading. Changes may be made to the course offerings.

Requirements for applicants
- A B.S. or B.A. degree in a business-related field (finance, accounting, economics, etc.). Applicants are welcome from other fields, though additional coursework may be required in the summer prior to the program start.
- 4 year bachelor's degree program; or, 3 year bachelor's degree program plus 1-2 year master's diploma program with degree awarded
- Minimum GPA: 3.00
- No work experience is required, nor does it affect the application decision.
- GMAT (or GRE) required.Waivers available for students with a Finance, Accounting or STEM background and 3.3 GPA or higher; CFA Level
