Program description

The BA (Hons) Bespoke Tailoring course, the only one of its kind in the UK, is delivered at London College of Fashion and focuses on a unique, client-centred design process. It challenges students to become "disruptive traditionalists" who respect craftsmanship while redefining its future through cut, fit, and silhouette.

The curriculum emphasises technical excellence in traditional hand-construction and pattern drafting, paired with design innovation that embraces future technologies. It adopts a culturally diverse and inclusive approach, valuing different artisanal practices to enrich the learning community.

A core principle is authentic sustainability, promoting material repurposing and design for longevity. Taught by staff with experience in global luxury brands, the course prepares graduates for careers in world-class tailoring houses, ready-to-wear brands, or as independent designers.
