Program description
The BA Fashion Communication: Image and Promotion course is delivered at Central Saint Martins and is a visual communication pathway focused on creative problem-solving and innovation. As one of three pathways, it encourages collaboration across specialisms and with Fashion Design students, exploring media from film and photography to digital design and performance.
The curriculum is not limited to specific platforms, pushing students to explore fresh approaches to existing media and develop new modes of communication for editorial and commercial settings. With a global reputation for creativity, the course prepares students to be adaptable lateral thinkers who challenge existing modes of representation.
Integral to the programme is a commitment to social, racial, and climate justice, aiming to influence the sustainable transformation of the fashion industry. Graduates become stylists, art directors, and filmmakers, equipped with an ethical, decolonised perspective that reflects the diversity of the global fashion community.
