Program description

The BA (Hons) Communication Design course is delivered at Chelsea College of Arts and is an innovative programme that centres on human experience to drive the design of communication across branding, UX/UI, moving image, and editorial design. It combines graphic design with interactive experiences to engage, educate, and entertain audiences for cultural, emotional, and social purposes.

The curriculum takes an interdisciplinary approach, developing skills in visual narratives, digital design, and brand identity through hands-on making and human-centred solutions. With a strong focus on industry, students learn to create professional proposals that respond to contemporary issues while embedding principles of climate, social, and racial justice into their practice. Networking with industry creatives and access to Chelsea's shared workshops further support professional development.
