Program description

The MA Internet Equalities programme at the UAL Creative Computing Institute critically examines how power relations and structures of oppression are embedded across the full technology stack - from physical infrastructure to code and access - and how these layers perpetuate offline inequalities online. It encourages you to reimagine the internet through practice-based projects that prioritise equity, inclusivity, and justice.

The course prepares you for diverse career pathways in digital advocacy, ethical technology, software development, system architecture, and academic research. A core commitment is to frame technical and critical skills within a strong ethical framework, actively embedding UAL's Principles for Climate, Social, and Racial Justice into the curriculum.
