Program description
The MA User Experience Design programme at London College of Communication is an industry‑focused, design‑led course that teaches how compelling user experiences are designed, tested, and evaluated, covering advanced studio skills and the methods of user research within a critical‑theoretical background.
You will gain knowledge of the tools, materials, and practices that make up UX design in the context of LCC’s community, with a focus on complex systems, emerging technologies, and integrated experiences. The course builds on graphic, communication, and interface design values through open inquiry and creative risk‑taking, emphasising user research methods and collaboration on live industry briefs in areas like wearable tech, smart cities, and data visualisation.
Designed for graduates in design, social sciences, digital technologies, or related fields - as well as working designers seeking to deepen their practice - the programme prepares you to develop new opportunities in the evolving field of user experience.
