A private, for-profit institution called University Canada West (UCW) is located in British Columbia, Canada. David F. Strong, a former president of the University of Victoria, launched it in 2005. The institution, which has its headquarters in downtown Vancouver, provides undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and management.
The institution bears the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) certification under the 2003 Degree Authorization Act and is accredited by the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. The institution obtained accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs in 2017 for its undergraduate and graduate business degrees (ACBSP).

As of 2019, UCW provides an MBA, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. Both on-campus full-time study and online part-time study are options for earning these degrees. An Associate of Arts degree is also available.
