Program description
What causes some political ideas to gain traction fast, while others electrify large masses and transform entire societies? Why is it that, even when both speakers are trying to say the same thing, you find one interesting and another just talks about something? How much of the adage "the ends justify the means" is true, and where does manipulation end and persuasion begin? And lastly, how come some politicians become leaders and grab the attention of the public from their very first speech, while others take months or even years to establish their reputation and status?
All of this is a result of the art of politics, which includes manipulating feelings and arguments, crafting deliberate public personas, skillful rhetoric, and successfully "selling" your beliefs with charm and enthusiasm. The good news is that you can study this technique, and the even better news is that you will learn it at the university level with us, guided not just by exceptional instructors but also by professionals and specialists.
The University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw's Art of Politics program was designed for you if you envision yourself in a leadership role in politics, as a member of parliament, a councilor, or the director of a non-governmental organization!
