Program description

Did you know that the development of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and all other processes involving human-computer communication would not have been feasible without the study conducted by cognitive scientists? A multidisciplinary field of research, cognitive science integrates tools and information from computer science, quantitative statistics, linguistics, psychology, sociology, and philosophy to examine the cognitive processes of the human mind. The reason for this is that scientific understanding of mental processes like inference, information processing, perception, and memory is crucial for developing efficient marketing and social media strategies, as well as for designing and utilizing cutting-edge systems that influence communication in the twenty-first century.

You will study a variety of topics pertaining to cognitive development in the fields of computer science, psychology, and linguistics while pursuing your bachelor's degree in cognitive science at the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw. Additionally, you will obtain practical experience with data and information processing systems and technologies. Most importantly, you will acquire useful research skills during your education and learn how to apply them to your eventual profession.

Requirements for applicants

English Proficiency Proof (IELTS, TOEFL, CAE)
An official high school transcript from the last high school attended or from a home school program. All transcripts issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
Official transcripts from all college-level credit courses obtained while in high school (if any).
