Program description
The goal of correctional rehabilitation is to help people who have committed crimes or who exhibit tendencies toward activities that have the potential to cause significant harm to society return to appropriate behavior, standards, and patterns.
Do you wish to pursue a degree that will enable you to work as a correctional rehabilitation professional? Do you want to actually influence how people interact in treatment centers and actively assist those from the most challenging and dysfunctional backgrounds in their efforts to reintegrate into society? Do you think you have the psychological abilities necessary to assist those who are socially maladjusted? Are the difficulties that come with working in the courts, in prisons, and in crime prevention something you don't fear?
If yes, you should enroll in the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw's undergraduate Correctional Rehabilitation program!
Key subjects from a variety of social sciences, including criminology, anthropology, psychology (including social, educational, and psychopathology), and law (including criminal, custodial, and family law), will be covered during your study. Additionally, you will get comprehensive understanding of the rehabilitation systems in Poland and globally, as well as familiarity with the most recent techniques and rehabilitation initiatives. Above all, you will complete engaging internships, a plethora of workshops, and competency training that will practically prepare you for future work.
