Program description

Hola, amigo! :) Did you know that, in terms of worldwide communication, Spanish is the second most spoken language, right behind English? Speaking Spanish well will open doors to a world of commerce, science, and culture that knows no boundaries because of its expressive, distinctive tone, which is audible not only in Spain but in more than 130 other countries as well! These courses will enable you to fully immerse yourself in the richness of Iberian and Ibero-American culture, which will pique your curiosity about the world and introduce you to people from diverse cultural origins. Studying Spanish Philology at UEHS can also help you methodically hone all of your language abilities to the point where you can become an experienced speaker of the language despite its fiery temperament.

You will gain fluency in Spanish as well as in relevant literature and culture during the UEHS Bachelor of Spanish Philology program. You will be practically prepared for a future profession in language services or the tourism business in general by selecting one of the three extension courses available: Translation Studies, Business and Tourism, or Language Education.
