Program description
One of the vital sectors that significantly influences the growth of both the national and local economies is the energy sector. The University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw offers a bachelor's degree program in Energy Studies that will prepare you for a career in this quickly expanding field if you want to work in sustainable development, energy policy, or critical infrastructure in the future. For individuals who prefer to gain competence in implementing solutions and processes in the energy industry that align with global megatrends—like the need to protect the environment, technological advancements in the context of Industry 5.0 requirements, the creation of economic-social-environmental value, the introduction of a closed-loop economy model, and non-financial reporting—the bachelor's degree program offered is a great option.
The Sustainable Development and ESG specialization, offered as part of AEH's Energy Studies course, will teach you everything you need to know about the modern energy industry, including supply chains, energy security, law, and conventional and non-conventional energy sources. Your specialty subjects will also include an exploration of specific state sustainability issues and organizations related to state-level non-financial reporting, such as SDGs and ESG companies. Gaining an understanding of these topics will undoubtedly help you take the first steps toward a career in corporate social responsibility.
