Program description

Corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental performance, and corporate governance (Governance) are the three areas in which an organization's performance is systematically analyzed and evaluated. This process is known as ESG auditing. An ESG audit determines how closely a company's operations adhere to sustainability norms and analyzes the effects these activities have on a range of stakeholders, such as the planet and its ecosystems, investors, local customers, and employees. It evaluates the risks associated with ESG variables for an organization as well. The largest corporations are already required by EU law to report on their ESG operations in a non-financial manner starting in 2024. Thus, sustainability is no longer merely a fad but rather a factor that shapes contemporary, ethical company. For this reason, earning a Master of Science in Sustainability Analytics and Audit from the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw is a wise investment in your future career!

Graduates with at least a bachelor's degree in the social sciences—mostly in accounting, finance management, and economics—are advised to apply to the Master's program. These students will want to gain specialized knowledge in green finance, ESG and CSR, sustainability strategy, and most importantly, practical skills for its implementation, reporting, and evaluation. The ESG Audit specialization allows students to specialize in business analytics, auditing, and financial and non-financial reporting in a variety of contexts, including risk management, financial controlling, environmental impact analysis of investments, and ESG audit.
