Program description
Exercise and sports are popular and essential for long-term fitness and wellbeing. Sports and exercise-based prevention is also becoming more and more important in the healthcare system. Furthermore, the fitness sector has been expanding steadily on a national and worldwide scale for many years. The most popular sport in Germany is fitness, with about 11 million participants.
A healthy lifestyle necessitates a significant amount of physical activity. Our bachelor's program in sports science with an emphasis on fitness and health will teach you exactly what this level looks like and how to communicate it to active individuals and other target groups in a goal-oriented manner.

Price
Fee for two semesters (1 year) is 12100,00 euro for international students
The tuition fee includes:
- Advanced teaching by faculty with real-world experience
- Personal career planning support from our Career Center colleagues
- Enrollment fee, examination fee, bachelor's or master's thesis fee
- State-of-the-art equipment in the teaching rooms and the technology lending facility (Arsenal)
- Free German or English language courses for enrolled students
- The possibility to individually choose modules from other programs as part of your curriculum
- Access to the Job Teaser online platform, through which UE connects you with practice partners and regional companies
- Use of the UE campus including library, cafeteria, WLAN and other services
Also once you are accpeted as a student, you will be asked to pay a reservation fee of € 3,000. The reservation fee is a one-time payment that will sercure your spot and that will be deducted from the total cost of the programme, before you are invoiced for tuition.
For example: If your total programme costs 30,000 € and the reservation fee is paid (3,000 €), you would only be invoiced for the remaining 27,000 € in tuition once you start studying.
Requirements for applicants
Admission to a Bachelor’s Degree program in Sports Science: Fitness & Health
The following requirements apply for the start of a Bachelor's degree:
- Higher education entrance qualification*;
- Motivation letter (min. 500 words)
* In certain cases, you may also be able to study without a high school diploma. In such cases you will need to have a minimum of three year’s professional experience, and be enrolling in a programme relevant to that experience.
