Program description
This degree incorporates almost every historical period, theory, and geographical area. Choose from a variety of subjects, such as the history of First Nations in Canada, women in European medieval society, and legal history, or delve into global religious, race, and economic issues.
Our professors use a variety of methodologies in their instruction, and you are encouraged to pursue your own interests in course selection and independent research. Specialized courses in the history of law, crime, and punishment are available through the department.
