Program description
This course will explore the vast diversity of animal life on Earth and provide answers to these and several other inquiries. The course examines several facets of animal biology, encompassing animal behavior, ecology, evolution, cell biology, and physiology, along with practical elements of animal conservation and management.
Laboratory technical competencies and fieldwork will constitute a fundamental aspect of your training. During the initial phase of the degree, you will acquire essential procedures and methodologies pertinent to the biological sciences, followed by the chance to use them in formulating your own research inquiries of interest. You will gain instruction in fieldwork techniques at our exceptional University of Stirling campus and at residential field courses throughout Scotland.

- High school certificate or equivalent:
- India: Successful completion of 11th with 50% with a pass in Maths and one science based subject OR successful completion of 12th with a Pass including Maths and one science based subject
- Russia and CIS: Successful completion of Year 11 Secondary school leaving certificate with a cumulative GPA 4, with 4.0 in Maths and a pass in one science based subject
- English Language Requirements:
- IELTS 5.0 (minimum 5.0 in all sub skills) or equivalent
