Program description
This course will comprehensively cover the entirety of life across many biological disciplines, encompassing organisms from bacteria to blue whales and processes from enzymes to ecosystems. In the initial two years, you will get a comprehensive grasp of the fundamental mechanisms that regulate life on Earth, followed by a specialization aligned with your interests in the later portion of the degree program. As you enhance your practical abilities, you will engage in research, allowing you to contribute to biological discoveries.
Laboratory technical competencies and fieldwork will constitute a fundamental aspect of your training.You will acquire essential procedures and methodologies for the biological sciences early in the degree, subsequently applying them to formulate your own research topics of interest. You will gain instruction in fieldwork techniques at our exceptional University of Stirling campus, as well as during on-campus and residential field courses.

- India: Successful completion of 12th with a Pass including Maths and one science based subject OR successful completion of 11th with 50% with a pass in Maths and one science based subject
- Russia and CIS: Successful completion of Year 11 Secondary school leaving certificate with a cumulative GPA 4, with 4.0 in Maths and a pass in one science based subject
- English Language Requirements:
- IELTS 5.0 (minimum 5.0 in all sub skills) or equivalent
