Program description
What does justice mean? What is the meaning of consciousness? Does the truth about the world come from the sciences?
Studying philosophy enables you to address some of the most important issues in life while honing critical thinking, writing, and attentive reading skills. By learning to differentiate between strong and weak arguments, you will be able to make well-informed conclusions on controversial topics.
From ancient philosophers to current discussions on urgent ethical dilemmas, the nature of the mind, and artificial intelligence, philosophy offers you the opportunity to investigate a vast array of significant concepts.
Philosophy's critical thinking abilities can also be used to more specialized subjects like psychology, computer science, law, medicine, and business.
