Program description
In order to provide managers with a clear and current view of their companies' financial health, accounting is crucial for tracking and directing company activities.
In order to help organizations make informed decisions, accounting majors teach students how to collect, analyze, and present financial data. You have the option of specializing in either financial or management accounting, or you can pursue a more generalized course of study that delves deeper into a variety of accounting topics.
Units involving workshops, team exercises, and group projects help accounting students gain real, industry-based experience. For instance, in order to better understand auditing, students will collaborate on a case study with senior Ernst & Young staff members who conduct classroom instruction using real-world situations.
