Program description

Economics majors can become government or corporate economists, consultants, analysts, or policy advisors.

This major will help you deconstruct complex economic events and understand concepts like the theory of choice. This economic strategy can explain climate change economics, asset value, international trade justice, and economic policy pros and disadvantages.

This extended major can prepare you for a career as an economist or a PhD. In applying microeconomic and macroeconomic models to real-world challenges, your study will benefit economists, businesses, and politicians. You'll also learn to evaluate domestic and global economic issues.

Economic policy addresses economic growth, stability, financial institution regulation, resource taxes, education funding, and retirement income. Professors and researchers are well-respected and come from many countries.
