Program description

How does Bureau of Metrology predict weather, how does your phone recognize your face, how does YouTube recommend videos, and how can Siri listen to your commands and talk?

This course will change your worldview. A data scientist will also see their "digital twins" in a variety of formats, numbers, text descriptions, audios, images, and videos, in streams at super speed and high volumes, creating rich, ever-growing data oceans that can advance our new digital civilization. This degree will teach you data storage, processing, visualization, and manipulation to construct models for pattern detection, predication, and forecasting and turn raw data into usable knowledge.

Data is everywhere, and graduates who can mine it are sought after in mining, health care, government, and non-government entities.
