Program description
By exposing you to a wide array of technology and manufacturing processes, the Architecture extended major gets you ready for graduate school by getting you to think about different design outputs and how to use them. In this course, you will learn how to make models, sketches, and prototypes using a variety of tools and techniques. Research into sustainable design, design communication, and pertinent theoretical, ethical, and historical dimensions of architecture will also be part of your coursework. When you finish your degree, you'll have the skills to analyze design challenges and come up with solutions by combining creative thinking with rigorous research.
