Program description

In order to meet the food needs of an expanding population, agribusiness includes all aspects of the food production process, including but not limited to production, financing, processing, and selling of food and fiber. The growing global demand for food has propelled the agricultural industry to the forefront of economic activity, driving growth in output, consumption, and job opportunities. You may take advantage of this expanding industry by pursuing a degree in agribusiness.

Food insecurity, inefficient agricultural systems, and dynamic consumer markets are some of the world's most pressing problems, and this major will teach you how to apply economic and business concepts to these issues. Management of enterprises that start at the farm gate and end up on people's plates is another topic covered.
