Program description

From the Big Bang and its ultimate destiny to the behavior of matter on the subatomic scale and beyond, physics investigates the universe and our place in it at the most basic level. The main goal of majoring in physics is to provide you the mathematical tools you need to explore the cutting edge of modern physics. Radars, lasers, transistors, quantum computers, electron microscopes, and sophisticated medical imaging scanners are all products of the information derived from the study of physics. Weekly practical laboratory classes and structured tutorials will supplement your lecture notes by providing opportunities to debate, apply, and build upon the unit's theoretical concepts.

Program structure
