Program description

This specialized master's program covers a broad range of applied finance topics and prepares students for employment in corporate banking and finance, stock market trading, insurance, investment management, and other applied finance fields.

For graduates who are already employed in the finance industry or who want to transition into the field from a non-financial background, the Master of Applied Finance is a useful degree.

With subjects like risk management, capital markets, and international finance, the curriculum supports the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

You will be taught by seasoned financial experts, such as lecturers who have developed an Equity Preference Index in collaboration with Colonial First State, sat on the Commonwealth Government Superannuation Roundtable, and testified as experts in court.

The Master of Applied Finance is recommended as a preparatory course for candidates aiming to earn the CFA certification.
