Program description

The goal of this course is to enhance the practical abilities, knowledge, and comprehension of practitioners who are already or may soon be employed in the human performance sector.

Professional sports are the sole focus of vocationally oriented courses on human high performance at the moment, but peak performance is also essential for productivity, safety, and effectiveness in other fields (e.g. occupational health and safety, mining, defense, performing arts, etc.). High performance athletic skills and techniques will be expanded upon in this course, which will also make them applicable to the business world.

You will be exposed to advanced level units that expand on the knowledge you acquired during your undergraduate studies, particularly with regard to using the most recent sport science knowledge and scientific principles and approaches to increase human performance.

Modern research informs the lectures, labs, and hands-on activities incorporated into the core modules, offering a solid foundation for interventions aimed at improving human performance. In order to enable students to be active participants in the high performance and sport science business, you will thereby help them develop not just practical skills but also critical thinking and research abilities.
