Program description
Biomedical research affects everyone's ability to diagnose and treat sickness, live a healthy lifestyle, and have a good quality of life.
Biomedical science addresses worldwide biomedical concerns like obesity, cancer, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular disease by combining biological, medical, and health sciences. It uses anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and neurology to understand human life and evolution. It uses paraclinical pharmacology, pathology, and microbiology to understand and treat human sickness.
Modern research and its use in clinical settings for disease diagnosis and treatment and healthy living are highlighted. The course includes advanced laboratory skills and how to employ them in an individual research project, but it is not necessary. Thus, you can focus on discipline-specific information and applications.
No matter your research training, the course emphasizes research literacy through in-depth understanding of scientific literature and communication.
