Program description

Gain knowledge of how to apply psychological theories and concepts to work environments in order to enhance productivity and create safer, healthier, and happier work environments. Applicants with a bachelor's degree in any field are eligible to enroll in this course, which is especially pertinent for those who are currently employed and want to advance in their careers. Examine our psychology degrees to identify a recognized pathway as this course does not lead to professional registration as a psychologist.

Work design to improve employee engagement; health, safety, and human factors at work; employee training and skill development; organizational change and development; leadership psychology; workplace diversity and inclusion; people analytics; management and organizations; and ethics and sustainability management are among the topics covered in the course. Additionally, the course gives you the chance to use your knowledge and abilities in a group project for organizational consulting under supervision.

Requirements for applicants

To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have

  • the equivalent of a 3 year Bachelors degree, with the equivalent of a UWA Weighted Average Mark of at least 60%

English competency

  • Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.
