Program description

Particularly in Australia, groundwater is essential to the sustainability of society. The distribution and movement of groundwater beneath the surface of the Earth, as well as the ways in which groundwater interacts with the atmosphere, biosphere, and crust through physical, chemical, and biological processes in groundwater systems, are the subjects of hydrogeology. You will get a deeper comprehension of these intricate and ever-changing processes as well as how groundwater systems are affected by environmental change and human activity. The course covers topics such groundwater flow systems, aquifer characterization, contamination and remediation, numerical modeling, and groundwater management. An chance to conduct a research project is also provided.

In order to satisfy the demands of employers, the Master of Hydrogeology was created in close coordination with industry stakeholders. You are learning from both industry executives and academics with experience in the field thanks to the course's numerous industry guest lecturers.
