Program description

Graduates of any discipline can gain leadership skills and knowledge in marine science, engineering, law, resource economics, and environmental management through the Master of Ocean Leadership (MOL). Graduates will be equipped to implement solutions for the future of our seas and coasts and to strategically address human concerns in ocean systems.

Students will be prepared to lead and participate in productive teams in interdisciplinary settings. Both professionals and fresh grads will find the highly interactive course to be both flexible and challenging.

The course is intended for people who work in fields that require in-depth understanding of marine resources and the ocean environment, as well as how to manage and regulate them. The course is intended for undergraduate students who are passionate about resolving ocean-related issues and who aspire to work for marine resource corporations, government and regulatory organizations, renewable energy projects, marine non-governmental organizations, aquaculture businesses, and the fisheries industry.
