Program description
In addition to developing your ability to apply accounting information to solve problems and make decisions, the Master of Professional Accounting program trains you in the technical aspects of accounting data preparation and fosters the development of critical thinking and communication skills, two crucial professional abilities.

Requirements for applicants
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have
- a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification*, as recognised by UWA; and either:
- the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent or
- at least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation; or
- completed a Graduate Certificate in Commerce at UWA.
*Applicants who have a Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting, or an equivalent qualification, are not eligible for admission.
English competency
- Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.
