Program structure
Term 1:
Learn the fundamentals of animation, including drawing, hand-drawn animation, and basic art direction.
Term 2:
Improve your drawing skills through storyboarding and background design exercises.
Term 3:
Explore more complex animation concepts, such as animating a character's thoughts and emotions using acting principles.
Term 4:
Create storyboards for an animated film, character model sheets, layouts, and final artwork for rendering.
Term 5:
Advance to the art direction and digital ink and paint phase of production for your final project.
Term 6:
Concentrate on portfolio development for 2D animators in anticipation of graduation.
