Program structure
Term 1:
Examine contemporary industry standards in audio production for cinema and television, and get knowledge of the primary audio software used in the field, Pro Tools.
Term 2:
Apply ideas, theories, and tools from the preceding semester in projects that include background audio editing, Foley and ADR methods, conversation, and sound effects production.
Term 3:
Investigate advanced methods and ideas, and get practical expertise in game audio while collaborating on a game developed via Game Design.
Term 4:
Enhance your skill sets via practical experience by collaborating on a film project with students from the Film department and a game development project with Game Design students.
Term 5:
Enhance your self-direction as you explore sound for film and gaming sounds more profoundly.
Term 6:
Submit your final portfolio to an industry panel for evaluation and professional development courses to guide your post-graduation trajectory.
