Program structure
Term 1 (4 months):
Investigate trends in VR/AR development and establish a fundamental understanding of programming, data structures, and algorithms. Acquire proficiency in 2D and 3D asset development for augmented reality with Adobe Creative Suite and Maya. Commence using Unity and Unreal to create VR/AR apps and experiences. Commence the production process – doing research, strategizing, and constructing a project.
Term 2 (4 months):
Concentrate on user experience and interface design, including research, idea development, wireframing, and prototyping. Comprehend trends in VR/AR marketing and branding, as well as their industrial applications, and engage in a client-focused project. Explore the intricacies of Unity and Unreal in the context of VR/AR creation. Engage in an individual or collaborative final project focused on the development of a virtual reality or augmented reality application.
