Program description
The Department of Animation, which opened its doors in the 2013-2014 academic year, aims to graduate world-class animation artists capable of integrating the fundamentals of movement creation and animated storytelling in the most cutting-edge production technologies. After four years of study in the department, students obtain knowledge in their chosen sector and a universal professional perspective, allowing them to work on any team in the globe. Graduates are also required to create a creative and distinct perspective of animation, allowing them to be not only skilled technologists but also innovative artists. To accomplish this purpose, the department provides a curriculum that emphasises experimenting with a variety of techniques and materials while allowing students to create their own work.
Our graduates work in advertising agencies as strategists, account executives, and copywriters; in public relations agencies as publicists and event managers; in corporations, governmental institutions, and nongovernmental organisations as corporate communication specialists, public relations managers or officers, community relations managers, media relations experts, and social media specialists; and in corporate marketing departments at various levels. They also freelance in a variety of marketing communication initiatives.
