Program description
Students in the Public Relations and Advertising Department specialise in social and business communication, as well as being trained to become highly skilled, talented creative and design experts. Theoretical and practical applications are used to reinforce principles taught in the department's dynamic setting. In 2005, the Department of Public Relations and Advertising admitted its first students. Theory pertinent to the realm of communications is investigated. Students receive practical experience in public relations and advertising through project work. Additional courses are taken to help pupils develop their artistic creativity and design skills.
Graduates of the Public Relations and Advertising Department may work as public relations experts, communication consultants, corporate communication coordinators, and press/media consultants, as copywriters in advertising agencies, and in a variety of positions in media institutions and market research firms.

Tuition fee: 8,000 USD/year
For students who are accepted to their desired program, a non-refundable placement fee of 1000 USD will be charged to those who accept the program placement.
Requirements for applicants
- High school/secondary education (or higher)
- The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English/Turkish.
- Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
- You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
- Quota for the department is 2 ppl and is applicable for all the applications around the world
Language requirements:
- TOEFL IBT 78
- CAE Grade B or above
- Yasar University FLAT exam 65%
