Program description
The Yaşar University Artificial Intelligence Engineering Master's Program with Thesis aims to offer students with knowledge and abilities in the fundamental scientific approaches of artificial intelligence engineering as well as a broad variety of application fields. As advances in electrical physics resulted in the emergence of electrical-electronics engineering in the nineteenth century, today's digital computers with high memory and processing speeds emerged through microelectronics technology, so the electrical-electronic engineering that left its mark on the twentieth century has led to the development of computer and software engineering as independent branches. As a natural result of these breakthroughs, Artificial Intelligence Engineering has advanced to the point where digital computers, or machines in general, may be programmed to perform functions resembling intelligence and to learn from data autonomously.
Artificial intelligence engineering, which finds applications in almost all technological, economic, and social fields, as well as image and voice recognition, wired and wireless communication, smart cities, smart networks, internet of things, autonomous vehicles, and robotics by providing state-of-the-art solutions that outperform conventional methods, is rapidly developing as an engineering field. The Yaşar University Artificial Intelligence Engineering Master's Program with Thesis is intended to provide students with fundamental theoretical knowledge of artificial intelligence engineering, such as machine learning, as well as the ability to programme artificial intelligence algorithms and apply them in various fields based on the students' backgrounds and research interests.
The programme seeks to produce graduates who will pursue academic careers in the field of artificial intelligence engineering, establish their own businesses to develop innovative artificial intelligence products and provide artificial intelligence engineering solutions, or realise technology-oriented artificial intelligence engineering projects in industry or government.

Requirements for applicants
- Undergraduate diploma (or higher)
- To be a graduate of Engineering, Engineering and Architecture and Architecture Faculties, Faculty of Medicine undergraduate programs, Psychology undergraduate program, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science and similar programs of Science or Arts and Sciences Faculties, as well as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and similar basic science bachelor’s degree programs.
- Min. Graduation Degree should be: 2.30 / 4.00
One of the exams below must be obtained:
- GRE (New): Min. 151 Quantitative
- GMAT: Min. 465
- ALES: 60
- The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English/Turkish.
